The following relates to the NuVista Ventures (“NuVista”) Pricing Policy.

About List Prices

Except where noted otherwise, the List Price displayed for products on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product itself, suggested by the manufacturer or supplier, or estimated in accordance with standard industry practice.

The List Price is a comparative price estimate and may or may not represent the prevailing price in every area on any particular day. For certain items that are offered as a set, the List Price may represent “open-stock” prices, which means the aggregate of the manufacturer’s estimated or suggested retail price for each of the items included in the set. Where an item is offered for sale by one of our merchants, the List Price may be provided by the merchant.

About Shopping Cart Prices

Items in your Shopping Cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on the item’s product detail page.

This price may differ from the price shown for the item when you first placed it in your cart. Placing an item in your cart doesn’t reserve the price shown at that time. It is also possible that an item’s price may decrease between the time you place it in your cart and the time you purchase it.


  • You’re not charged until after your order has entered the shipping process.
  • If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. This applies only to products sold and shipped by NuVista. Sellers may follow different policies in the event of a mispriced item.

About the Pre-Order Price Guarantee

The Pre-order Price Guarantee applies to not-yet-released qualifying items.

NuVista prices for not-yet-released items sometimes changes between the time the item is listed for sale and the time it is released and/or shipped.

For Physical Items:

Whenever you pre-order a physical item displaying the “Pre-order Price Guarantee” message on the product detail page, the price we charge when we ship it to you will be the lowest price offered by NuVista between the time you place your order and the end of the day of the release date.


  • The Pre-order Price Guarantee applies only to items sold by NuVista, and, other than certain digital music albums, not to items (or prices) offered by other sellers on our site. The Pre-order Price Guarantee does not apply to any products purchased at NuVista’s other sites.
  • The Pre-order Price Guarantee applies only to not-yet-released qualifying items. It does not apply to other product lines or to items that have already been released.
  • The Pre-order Price Guarantee applies only to qualifying items displaying the offer message on their product detail pages. Items that do not display the offer message do not qualify, regardless of the nature of the items.
  • The Pre-order Price Guarantee does not apply to lower prices offered through any program that requires a customer to join the program to receive the lower price.
  • If your order enters the shipping process before the release date, and the price is lowered before the end of the day of the release date, we’ll automatically refund your credit or debit card for the difference between the price you were charged and the release-date price within 48 hours. If the price changes before the item ships, you’ll see the updated price in Your Account within 24-48 hours of the price change.
