We stand behind everything we sell and offer 3 levels to support our satisfaction commitment on all items purchased from NuVista Ventures (“NuVista”). There is a 30-day guarantee, 90-day warranty and lifetime guarantee. The NuVista 90-day warranty and lifetime guarantee covers manufacturers defects and doesn’t cover ordinary wear and tear or damage caused by improper use or accidents.

If you are not satisfied with your Docky purchase or for whatever reason, you can return it for a replacement or refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. If your item has a manufacturing defect in its materials or workmanship, you can return it at any time. If the defect occurs within 90 days of purchase (the “initial warranty period”), it can be returned and either a replacement or refund issued as specified elsewhere herein. However, if the defect occurs after the initial warranty period, it can be returned and only a replacement will be issued. For details please see our limited warranty.

Returning Items

You can return your purchases from NuVista by mail, regardless of whether you made your purchase online, by phone or in an NuVista dealer network of retail stores. Proof of purchase is required.

Please retain all packaging material until you’re completely satisfied with the condition and performance of your purchase. Doing so will make it easier to return the item if necessary.

Returning an item to NuVista for an exchange or credit is simple. Just follow the instructions below.

  1. Contact our Customer Service department to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN) by sending us an email at: customer-service@mydocky.com.
  2. Fill out this Return/Exchange form.
  3. Pack your item for return or exchange along with the original packing and the Return/Exchange form. Make sure to include the RAN on the outside of the package.
  4. Once we receive your package, please allow 5 to 10 business days to process your exchange or credit.
  5. For your protection, we suggest using UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post, as we cannot claim responsibility until the package is back in our hands.
  6. We will handle the rest! Please don’t hesitate to contact us by sending an email to customer-service@mydocky.com with any questions.

Mailing your Return

Include required RAN, proof of purchase: store receipt, gift receipt, shipping invoice or member purchase history. No proof of purchase? We can help locate proof of purchase if you created an account online at the website. In order to locate your order number please include a note with the following information:

  • Purchaser name
  • Purchaser number
  • Purchaser Address
  • Purchaser Phone number
  • Purchaser Email address
  • Date of purchase
  • Location of purchase
  • Purchase Price
  • Reason for the return

Purchases not posted to an online account require you to provide proof of purchase for all retail transactions.

Returning a gift?

Include proof of purchase or information required above. Original purchaser will be refunded when gift recipient refund is not clearly requested and complete gift recipient information not included:

  • Name of gift recipient to be refunded
  • Gift recipient member number (if applicable)
  • Gift recipient address
  • Gift recipient phone number
  • Gift recipient email address

All gifts refunded to gift recipient will be issued a check to the address and recipient name provided.

Mail your return

Ship your package with a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance.

If we have any questions, we will contact the purchaser or gift recipient listed by phone or email.

NUVISTA is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit. If merchandise is returned that does not meet conditions of the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, the return will be declined and the merchandise will be returned to you.

If your item has a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, you can return it at any time. See our limited warranty. Used items must be cleaned prior to return. If you send merchandise that is not cleaned the NuVista Returns Department, your return may be denied and merchandise returned to you.

Refunds

Refunds in accordance with the 30-day Guarantee, excludes the cost of shipping and handling paid. Refunds as a result of manufacturing defects during the initial 90-day Warranty period will include the cost of shipping and handling. All returns subject to the Lifetime Guarantee will exclude shipping and handling.

All retail purchases will be refunded in the form of a check, mailed to the name and address provided (member name and address when no receipt provided).

All online and phone orders will be refunded to the original payment type with the exception of dividends which will be refunded by check mailed to the member name and address on file.

All gifts refunded to gift recipient will be issued a check to the address and recipient name provided.

Replacements

Want to order a replacement item? You can order your replacement item online at mydocky.com or by emailing customer-service@mydocky.com. You will be charged the purchase price, but once we receive your return, we’ll credit you for the cost of the original item. You will be responsible for shipping costs up front.

When exchanging the same item for a different size or color, place your order by phone and we will match the original purchase price on your exchange, where applicable. Then return your original item for refund.

Include your replacement order number with your return and we will refund all standard shipping charges paid on your replacement order. Sorry, we do not refund expedited shipping charges unless item returned is determined to be defective after inspection.
